k770i CID 53 into R8BE001! help! LOOK here! |

I apologise to you if I have been rude to you in any way.
Its just that I am not that technical with my phone.
I would like your assistants very much if you don;t mind?
the problem that i have is this:
i got my k770i unlocked and debranded from 3 uk at a mobile shop.
the firmware that was installed is not that for k770i, because under phone status it states: Generic A1???
and the firmware installed on the phone is R8BC004, which i think is from k800i, but not too sure.
the latest firmware for the k770i is R8BE001.
i connect my phone to wotanserver and the following comes up:
phone found
EROM: RED CID53
OTP: RED CID51
GDFS: Generic A1
GDFS: phone not recognized.
BUT, i have tried several times to connect my k770i to the SEUS but it says the phone has the latest software installed???
I would appreciate a kind reply from you guys. please. help.

The firmware u have is not the wrong firmware, otherwise it wouldn't work!

The 1st thing is DO NOT use Wotanserver.Instead use davinciteam or totalgsm.Their client will also tell you which CID the phone currently has.Basically choose the correct firmware for your phone and flash it.Each site has instructions on how to use their product so have a read 1st before you do anything.
