HTC ! ! ! What are you talking about? As far as I know, Nokia never sold a s60 licence to HTC. (Or should I say - HTC and SE for that matter, could not afford one) Windows Mobile is not a contender - what I am concerned. For the past few years, s60 rules. Is the operating systems of choice. All the others are pretty much irelevant.
You are in for some serious disappointment over the next few years.
How ironic. A few years ago, someone on this very same forum, said the same thing,as a answer to one of my postings. And guess what - I am still waiting for the BIG competition to come Either way, I hope you are right! After all, I don't want to see a repeat of Micro$oft dominance. The Symbian foundation (basically Nokia/S60) is running the show what smart cell are concerned. I am sure, not even you will play 'ostrich' on this fact.

Consider me entirely ostrich on that "fact", thanks! LMAO

i am going to receive my N97 in the morning. Ordered it 2 days ago from mobilephonesdirect.com. It's going to be unbrand and sim free even it's on vodafone network. BTW, the general release day of N97 in uk is 26 July! |

I am pretty sure, this is about the best a nail sized lens can do. It will be interesting to see how a higher mp pixel sensor can increase the pic/lens quality. I think 3.2mp is just about right for the lens size/quality a cell phone has those days. Anything above that and the sensor is overkill. Anything under and the sensor is the weak link. I expect next year to see 12 - 15mp sensors. The question is, will the picture really be 5x better then a 3mp? I very much doubt it. From now on I personaly don't bother about pixel count. However lens quality is the 'joker' card when it comes to pic quality in a cell phone. Karl Zeiss better deliver in 2010, otherwise not even a 20mp cell will impress me
Tell that to plankgatan..
I bet his C902 pics (with the right "driver") will outperform my Canon 5d mark II. |

just received my N97 from the postman. My first impression is the box is so small compare to N93 and N95. |

Hey, give us a review or some first impressions. Don't mention Nokia. Just talk about the n97 and s60. Makes me feel better
