HI ALL A WEEK AGO I GOT A TOMTOM530T, WHICH HAS BLUETOOTH IN IT AND IT SAYS THAT WHEN YOUR PHONE IS CONNECTED TO THE SATNAV AND YOU GET A TXT MESSAGE IT WILL READ IT TO YOU OUT LOUD IT WORKS WITH EVERYTHING ELSE BUT MY NOKIA N95 WONT WORK AND MY SE P990 WILL WORK WHEN IT COMES TO READING OUT TXTS ANY ONE OUT THERE GOT ANY IDEAS ABOUT GETTING THE NOKIA TO WORK WITH READING OUT TXTS |

The N95 is not on the TomTom compatibility list for receiving/sending texts but the SE P990i is. Lots of popular phones are not listed - it's more a case of what won't work rather than what will! |

thanks for the reply you are rite but do you think there mite be a program that i can down load or buy that will let me get the tom tom to read out txts ? Thanks for any help sy |

Not heard of one I'm afraid. You are either lucky or unlucky; most are unlucky! I had a cheap SE K750i and a K800i that worked and yet my Blackberrys don't. Seems unfair.
