W760i camera problem - green screen. Looking for help |

As you can see from the photo, the preview screen is green. When you take a photo and then look in your photos folder, the photo it takes is also green. I have tried all the camera settings and it's still green, even if you select the black and white option! I've tried a master reset and a software update and the problem is the same.
Any ideas?

I suspect it's one of two things, both hardware faults!
Either the data ribbon connecting the two parts of the phone has become slightly dislodged or damaged, or the camera's CCD has a problem, and will need replacing. Hopefully if it is either of these things it should be fixed under warranty.
However, I'd try doing a firmware update first just to rule out any gremlins in that department.

The flex cables failing are a common problem in flip/slider phones it's most likely to be that, The w760 has a cmos sensor it's a micron cammodule and it's unlikely the sensor has failed.

OMG.... My K750 last week dropped down and had the same problem... Then I shook the phone, pushed the Camera chip and everything returned ok.... Probably some contact inside the phone moved a little.... |
