in "\\tpa\\preset\\system\\menu\\settings" you will find the shutdown image and the startup image. there is the sound you hear when turn on/off the phone.

you'll find these 4 files:
SHUTDOWN_IMAGE_SEMC
SPLASH
STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC
STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid
the images should have the exact name as the above. the resolution must be the same as your phone i guess.

the splash is the screen you can change in settings > display > startup screen.
you can find the original files in case something goes wrong

after using the custom shutdown file its taking very long to shut down !!!
Why is it so ?
its a small file only, wonder the reason why !!!
and has any one tried the shortcut method for menu icons ?
"icon1_selected.png.@" which redirects to phone memory folder.
i use this technique only. I tried to use this technique on fonts, but failed. can't this be use on fonts ??
Hope u understood .....
this is the procedure i found from net "
"1. Using FAR or XS++, copy the shortcuts to tpa/preset/system/menu
2. create a folder in usb/other called 'menu'.
Create a folder in usb/other/menu for each of your custom menus.
Menu icons must be named in the format icon1_selected.png, icon1_unselected.png etc.
3. The menu set that will be displayed, will be the one at
this path: usb/other/menu/live, so before disconnecting far,
name one of your custom menu folder's to "live"
4. Exit FAR, then start your phone.
5. In future to to change menu's, simply rename one of the
menu sets in the menu folder to "live", then restart the phone.
To add new menus simply copy them using the usb cable or bluetooth
to "phone memory/other/menu"
can i use it for fonts ?? i tried but failed !!! please HELPPPP!! |
