Ok, so I am a bit of a DJ,
I have not done a mix in about 3 weeks , and have not really been listening to the radio due to exams etc.
I have lost track with the world of music
I need 7-10 tunes for a mix, must be quite new (last month etc.) and be dancy/beaty, or just a list of good songs at the moment
Thanks

Luke

Not a fan of pure dance or pop crap, but here's my playlist for this week. All the tracks are fast paced with great club beats.

Roger Sanchez - Bang That Box (Laidback Luke Mix)
DJ Miss Babayaga & DJ Josh Blackwell - Dreamcatcher (Original Mix)
Fires of Rome - Set In Stone (Dada Life Mix)
Axwell & Arno Cost - Watch The Apocalypse
Kobbe - Move This Place (Kobbe & Hugo Rizzo Mix)
Kobbe & Hugo Rizzo - Fonk Da Beat (Original Mix)
D.O.N.S Feat Terri B - You Used To Hold Me(TV Rock Remix)
Deadmau5 - Slip (pretty old but still very nice)

A lot of these tracks are on my Youtube page out here. Give a shout out if you're looking for something more specific.

4-14 year olds? Dude just play them Chico and Aqua etc and you'll be fine, I doubt SERIOUSLY that 4-14 year olds are going to be THAT on the pulse when it comes to music in the last three weeks....
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

Mate, I doubt if 4 year old babies have even heard of Armand van Helden, Tiesto and the likes.

Play some bubble gum pop songs from The Tings Tings etc. and you'll be just fine.

I meant 7 lmao, no they listen to all sorts, it's a weekly disco and it's been going since 2001, and they have listened to this kind of stiff since 2001, it must work

So far I have:
September - Cry for you
Eric Prydz - Pjanoo (love it )
Guru Josh Project - Infinity

New-ish stuff please

N-Dubz - Ouch!
Santogold - Creator
Sash Feat Stunt - Raindrops
Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing
Pendulum - Propane Nightmares
Utah Saints - Something Good '08

But as people have suggested anything from the top 40 from the last few months will be fine!

Dude I thought you were looking for "fresh" tunes? Cry for You is almost two years old while Pjanoo and Infinity were released way back in spring. Guess our definitions differ a bit.

Btw, check out the Klaas Instrumental Mix of Infinity. 'tis way better than the original track. If you're into that kind of house music, check out Jean Elan's Where's Your Head (Klaas Mix) and Pakito's Living on Video (Original Mix) too.

I still hate that Infinity 2008 song, no matter how many times I listen to it, the chaps voice really really grates on me, and the treble is way way way too high...

Not new but good nevertheless...

Ida Corr Vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It
Steve Mac - Paddy's Revenge
Dave Darell - Children < YES, it's a rehash of Mr Miles before you all gun me down
Skepta - Rolex Sweep
The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name (Tom Neville's Nameless Vocal Mix)
Dizzee Rascal Feat. Calvin Harris & Chrome - Dance Wiv Me (Club Mix) or Agent X remix if you want a bassline flavour)
J. Majik & Wickaman - Crazy World (Fonzerelli Remix)
Avenue D - Do I Look Like A Slut < 2005, get the right remix and the younger kiddies will love it whereas the older kiddies will appreciate the lyrical content
