I got an Xbox 360 from there in June, 20gb, HDMI model.

Not a mark on it, all the stickers still on it, fully boxed.

I want to return it as to HDD has been tripled to 60gb and lowered in price, I know its a bit late but I have had enough of it.

Can I get my money back so I can get a PS3 from Play.com?

agreed. I just got the 60gb 360 for my daughter on Friday from Argos and as with the previous one last year, they specifically said no return unless faulty

It's down to the manufacturer now not the seller.

^ you sure? within 12 months it's down to the retailer isn't it? unless the sales of goods act has changed?

but it'll have to be faulty...

Q6. Is it true that I have to complain to the manufacturer?

No. You bought the goods from the trader, not the manufacturer, and the trader is liable for any breaches of contract (unless he was acting as the manufacturer's agent).

from the BERR website here

Sorry wifey....X

lol, of course they won't take it back! Why on earth would anyone give you your money back 5 months later on something thats not faulty?
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

Oh Argos will.
I usually refer to Argos as a free hardware rental service. They never check returns, especially at big stores during the mad Christmas rush!
