Hi all,

I have a question about the MCA-10 I hope you can help me with.
I tried searching the form, but didn't get a definitive answer.

As I understand it the MCA-10 will only work over GPRS
if the authentication is set to None. My operator, Telia, has
set this to Normal on my t68i, so (I assume) I cannot use my GPRS
acccount to email, save on the WWW or send the pictures via MMS.

However the MCA-10 view allows you to "preview" the image before
sending the picture, it, by pressing "View" and it is saved in "My pictures". But what is actually saved in My Pictures ?

Is it simply a scaled down copy of the picture (101x80 & 256 colours)
or is it the picture itself (352x288 24bits) ?

Presumably if it is the picture itself, once stored on the t68i in "My
Pictures" there is nothing to stop me sending that picture as an
attachement to an email or as part of an MMS ?

What do you think ?

Thanks,

/Mike B.

P.s. the reason I ask is I can buy a very cheap MCA-10. Yes I
know the MCA-20 and MCA-25 are better, but they also cost over
3 times more than what I can get the MCA-10 for. And lets face it,
as a "toy" camera for fun/messing around, the MCA-10 is good enough.
I have a "real" 2 mega pixel digital camera if I want to take a real
photo.

Save the pic to my pictures, and email it via pop as an attachment. The pic will arrive at your computer as a 24bit 16million colour photo in whatever resolution you took the photo in origanally

You know what, seriously, find the MCA-20 or 25 on ebay, they sell them really cheap on there. You could always find a deal.

I am in Sweden, which makes Ebay arkward and the the shop
right beside me is selling off the MCA-10 for ~40 Euros/dollars.

So it is a damn good buy IF (as my orginal question asked)
the MCA-10 views save the entire image to the t68i "My Pictures",
where it can then be attached to an email or MMS and sent.

Can anyone answer for sure ?

Thanks,

the MCA-10 is a waste of time, refused one given to me for free....do as the dude says and get the 20 or 25 - $2 is still $2 more than the 10 is worth.
