Hey guys,

booted up my computer this morning, and every internet page had a broken image. Rebooted up numerous times, updated computer, virus scan. But still broken images.

What can I do to fix the problem?

Cheers

Clean up all browser caches and Temp. Internet Files folders using Ccleaner and run IE in "add ons disabled" mode start->run->"iexplore.exe -extoff"

See if that works.

Do you have an ad-blocker or internet security program installed? You might have inadvertently set it to block all images.

Thanks for the advice Gforce.

I tried that just now, and there is still no change.

Is there any more I can do?

Are you on a VPN connection? Its possible that the IT admins at your company have disabled images.

Do you have another computer/laptop? Try using it on your network and see what happens.

If these suggestions don't work, you might have a serious piece of malware on your computer. Post a HJT log and I'll look into it.
