Which music phone to buy? |

Hi guys.
I need your help. I want to buy a new phone though I'm not sure which one to go for as there are so many to choose from...
The phone that I was looking for was a SE W850i, Nokia N78...
I was also thinking of the W902 but I already have a K850i so the W902 is not an option for me at the moment. What I basically want in a phone is Good speaker(Good Quality Bass), an acceptional camera(2 megapixel or 3) and a good screen.
Any help would be much appreciated. |

Thanks for your quick responses guys, much appreciated.
The W760 looks nice though it lacks Video Calling through 3G, not that its a neccessity but I feel if a phone has 3G it must come with secindary camera. I just had a look at the W705, is it much better than the W760 coz I notice it has 3G with Video Calling and looks much more appealing than its cousin W760...
How is the speaker on the W705 though, is powerful enough, does it have good sound & Bass quality? |

W980 has nice speakers and has also videocall cam,
If not then wait for the W705 is real nice phone,

Thanks. I'm not raelly into Clamshell anymore since I bought the K850i... phones but it also looks nice. I think I'll have to wait for the W705 in that caes. Is there no better phone than the W705or W980i though?
It doesn't have to be a Walkman, how about a Nokia N78, is it a gr8 music phone? |

Well if you want music phone and nokia go for the 5800. Full touchscreen and a 3.2 camera. Its a good buy from the looks of it. Otherwise get the w705. Im not saying dont go for another w just go for that one. The w760 i wouldnt acually get it. I hated it. The speakers were to low(i have a w710 and it was lower then that!) and it was a bit glitchy. With the w705 you also have a nice 3.2mp cam and wlan which is wifi to surf without a data plan through your phone company as it hooks up directly trough wireless to your house interent. So yeah go for the w705. |

Thanks for your advice, SE love. I think I'll go for the W705 rather coz I'm not really a Nokia fan anymore but sometimes I feel like change is good, like how I moved from a Motorola to SE.

No prob. All 4 of my phones where se and thatas why i love se. I did find a strange weakening in the phones though. I had a w900 first great screen and great camera then a w710 and it was as good but a bit meh due to the screen. I had a w760 and i will never walk down crap lane again cause it was that bad for me and my newest phone will be the w705 which i hope to be as good as i found the w900. |

Why don't you look at the W902... It is pretty good choice if you want a phone for music mainly.

I'll say get the W910, it should be cheaper now and I think it's one of the best W-series phones of 2008.

get a k850i and mod your acoustic driver using w980 acoustic... buy a hpm-70 earphone and set your equalizer to megabass.... enjoy listening to music whole day long... Nice!!! the most loudest megabass among all bro....... |

Yeah, you could mod your K850 driver to get the same audio quality as the W-series. All SE Walkman phones don't pack dedicated sound processors so they're not hardware dependant therefore they all will sound alike with the same driver & headset. Not exactly value for money, I know. But if u must get 1, I recommend W902, best audio in the SE line & if you're bothered by the C902 cam module it packs then just consider it a bonus

Well if it doesnt have to be a SE i'd suggest looking at the SAMSUNG i450, it packs an ICEpower Amplifier and excellent sound quality, i doubt theres an SE that comes close to it in audio and volume. If it has to be an SE then im sure W902 OR W980 will be good.

He said no to a w903 as he already has the 5mp camera phone. So w980 would be gould. It has the same technology as the w705 for sound so i dont see why not! |
