I am a new user of SE phones and am impressed by the features of the 760a Ijust bought but I am also somewhat miffed about how poor the documentation from SE is. I am looking for some help on several fronts

I have several playlists on Windows Media Player 11 (WMP) that I want to put onto my new 760a phone. First I tried using the Media Manager application and that was taking forever. It was also unclear what would happen with tracks that appeared in multiple playlists. It seemed to me that the SE suite would copy the music but not create any playlists or that it would create multiple copies of a track that was shared among 2 playlists and I knew this would be undesirable. Anybody know about this?

SE support told me the only way to create a playlist for the phone was to do so on the phone. Since that is so clunky, I looked for a better way. I was able to sync the lists to the phone without problem from WMP and it generated playlists on the phone. However, the playlists appear like the system generated lists called "most played" and "not played" in that they are not maintainable on the phone -- you cannot add tracks and more importantly, they cannot be deleted. You can delete tracks from the playlist but then there is no mechanism save the updated list. You can delete tracks but that deletes them from the phone as well as the list.

Unfortunately, WMP also got out of sync with the phone memory card and it established a new "relationship" with the phone. Consequently, WMP will not sync with (i.e. delete or modify) these playlists either. Net, net, the playlists I synced to the phone with WMP are now orphaned and short of reformatting the memory stick there is no mechanism to delete them.

I tried without success to look for some file/folder on the phone and memory stick that looked like a playlists using Windows Explorer as well as using the SE software for Media manager as well as the PC Suite. SE support was of no help - saying that there is no mechanism to create any playlists for the phone except for doing so on the phone and anything else has to be fixed by reformatting the memory stick.

Any help with WMP, the PC or Media manager suite to remedy the above and create playlists external to the phone is appreciated.

BTW, i found very cheap M2 cards on AMAZON - $11 for 2Gig, $20 for 4Gig from TECH ISLAND. They arrived quickly, with a low shipping cost and work great.
