I downloaded it for the mail app, and ended up with the crappy messenger beta stuck on the side too.
If I uninstall it I lose both programs, any way to just uninstall the one?

cant u uninstall it and then reinstall from scratch. i.e. download the program from the origional source???????????????????????????????????? |

I've got to .exe on my PC, it just seems too much.
Or is there another way to get my hotmail account into thunderbird?
