i have a sony ericsson k770i. the current software version is: R8BC004.
i believe the latest firmware for the k770i is R8BE001. is this correct?
so, do I update the firmware on my k770i?

Yes, it could do it to. if the phone is branded it may wont upgrade it due to operator things. it could turn the phone into cid53 also.
