this is the second time since i had my p1 it shuts of during a call

any body else have this problem

*shrug* ..still are a few ways to make the phone hang when using some of the in-built tools. It has to do with that they don't play nice with other programs, generally, including other in- built programs.

But I haven't been able to isolate any cause for the problems with the call- app. I used all the functions, with notifications and so on all summer, for example, without a hang. And then there'd be some flickering screen, and all the memory would go away, before the phone would reboot.

So there's a lot of hairy memory and file- handling going on here - but the conditions that trigger the .memory leaks.. who knows.

I hope SE will fix problems for existing customers before selling the next range of phones with less than a year of bug fixes/firmware updates. It seems that unlike other brands SE is very quick to stop supporting phones, even if they are out just a few months. Nokia still releases steady firmware updates and even introduces new features for older phones. Guess SE will never include new features for P1i users, even though it should be possible to for example upgrade P1i phones to UIQ3.3 and give us the Gxxx software. This P1i is most likely my last SE phone.
