Parrot CK3000 and SE-P800? |

I had my T68i working perfectly with my CK3000... I just purchased a P800 and the CK3000 wants nothing to do with it. I have ordered the cable to update the CK3000 to 2.40... but no word yet on a delivery date.
Has anyone else been able to get the P800 and CK3000 working together?
My P800 thinks it has paired, but the P800 has no 'accessory' menu like the T68 did. The CK3000 also doesn't auto connect to the P800 when I turn my car on, and it never syncs the phone book.

PS. I posted this separate from http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=13210&forum=15 since that topic was on the T68 and CK3000 |

Many of us that have t68i with newer SW version experience the same exact thing. Upgrading to 2.4 on the CK3000 will only solve half the issues, you will be able to use voice dialing, but voice answering (word spotting) will not work also the menu is still disabled. Parrot admits there is a issue but no word yet on the fix. I gave up and ordered the Ericsson solution (HCB-30) I realize you have a P800 but pretty sure the same will apply in you're case. |

I guess i'll find out tonight or tomorrow. I also had it working fine with the T68i. However the sound went out on my CK3000 so i had to send it back for a replacement. I just got it back last night and got my P800 earlier this week.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Fingers crossed .....

Shaunco,
bad news, I set up the CK3000 with my P800 and it acted exaclty like you said. The P800 paired up with it but i found no way to interact with the CK3000 like i can with my T68i.
My CK3000 is brand new and has 2.40 firmware on it
At this point i'm going to send it back and shoot for the HCB-30.

Oh No!
I just got my Parrot CK3000, ordered from expansys.com and despite putting "require firmware 2.4" on the order they shipped me one with 2.32.
I though this was the cause of my problems, but clearly not! I eventually got mine to pair with my T68i, but it only works intermittently and there are clearly a lot of issues.
I have Firmware R6A012 on my T68i, which is pretty recent I think, and according to Sony-Ericsson supports the full HANDSFREE bluetooth profile, not a warped version of the HEADSET profile. Parrot told me that this would work OK with 2.4, were they lying?
Has anyone got a late firmware T68i to work with the CK3000, and if so at what Firmware level on the Parrot?
I want to upgrade the Parrot now, but expansys are dragging their feet. I dont want to pay 56 Euros for Parrot cable, has anyone found any online stores that do imitation cable copies? I am sure its just a serial cable, 56 euros seems a bit steep... and apparently you need a SECOND CK3000 in a special mode to do a bluetooth firmware update?
The spec list on expansys lists "Wireless upgrading", clearly my idea of bluetooth upgrade (dongle on laptop) and theirs differ somewhat, Grr...
Hmm, thats the trouble with things that seem nice on paper, they never work right!

I also need to know where to get a flash cable for my parrot kit, since i upgraded a new t68 to r6a and it doesn't work properly with the carkit. Alos the parrot website seems very sparse...people have been talking about finding flash files on there but i can't see where...help??? |
