If you connect to your home Wi-Fi router and have other machines connected, you can add a log-in and access the phone from your desktop PC just like any other connected computer.

Go into Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Wi-Fi and scroll over the Wi-Fi connection, then press Options; Edit Settings; Network Sharing: On

If you haven't already done so, go into Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Network Sharing and here you can enter a username and password (plus workgroup which is probably already set to WORKGROUP).

Then (as I've done on Vista) I can go into Networking and see the C905 and access the phone memory and memory card as normal folders - but with Wi-Fi speeds instead of Bluetooth.

I can also see the phone as a UPnP device (presumably like DNLA) and in theory access the media - but in practice, it failed. I didn't play around with it enough to get it working!

I was able to get it work by first turning on network sharing:
Wifi - Scroll to network - Options - Edit Settings - Network Sharing set to on.

After that is on, I opened up a Explorer window in windows and typed in: \\\\192.168.1.2 - which is the IP address that my phone is using. Some people said that typing in \\\\C905 (or whatever you named the phone) worked, but that never worked for me, even though that is what the phone would show up as in my network workgroup.

Hope that helps.
