Introducing the INQ1. Only on 3
The new INQ1 – it's what everyone is talking about. So what's all the excitement really about?
Try this for starters…
To start with those in the know know it's pronounced "ink one".
And with INQ1 you can have Facebook© on your mobile like never before. You get Facebook© alerts direct to your mobile. Status updates straight to your contacts and loads more.
Want to see who's on Skype, Facebook or Windows Live™ Messenger anytime so you can keep up with your mates? With INQ1 all the info is pulled and loaded straight into your contacts. Just like that.
It's easy to move between your favourite web sites and applications. The INQ1 switcher and carousel lets you do it with one simple touch of the button by whizzing through them all as they sit at the bottom of your screen.
Still want more? Ok then…
- It has a slick new browser with 'auto-landscape' that changes the orientation view when you rotate the phone.
- It gives you high-speed internet access. And can be used as a plug & play modem with your laptop.
Don't miss out on the INQ1. We'll give you more details really soon, so keep checking back to be one of the first to get your hands on one.

Yeah but you have to pay for BB service, I imagine 3 will be doing this free.
Is it just me, or is this INQ1 thing just a reworked Skypephone S2?

Having just read a few articles about this, it looks a very interesting idea. I like how it integrates contacts and provides constant updates on them all - very good functionality for a low end phone. It's inevitable that it will be compared to the Blackberry or the iPhone or the XPERIA, but it's not aiming to compete with any of these. It's aimed to be low end - they're practically giving these things away!
Having said that, as a power-user, I'm still waiting for Three to offer the XPERIA. I would love to have a play with one of these though.
Maybe I should spend my time waiting persuading some Windows Mobile developers to develop some form of social networking / instant messaging / phone book integration.. |
