Mmmm would not agree with it myself even though readers think so. I have had many problems this year with them. Vodafone won What Mobile awards. |

It depends on the invididual I suppose. Yes, you've had lots of problems Bonovox, but clearly not everyone has as we must be doing something right.
Personally, working for O2 or not, I'll never go with Vodafone, ever.
I've been with all the major networks except them and given I worked for The Link until it shut, I know what their like.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

Cause I've experienced their customer service first hand at The Link, and they were/are awful! We used to sit on hold for (I'm not kidding) hours waiting for them to set up a contract for us (back in the days before online contracts in store).
Their customer service was always a joke, their prices were too high for what you got. They were the first to ditch 12 month contracts and they look set to ditch 18 month too. They're like the dirty slimy underhand people at phones 4 u, but in network form lol.

lol well not alot's changed then I swear if you have a look at there forum you'll be in stitches the amount topics about CS especially.
When I joind them they were very fast and very friendley,
once your a customer though thats when it can get abit frustrating,
they just don't have a clue half the time, they need re-training
vodafone remind me of those Nationwide Building Society adverts
but still I think you should give them a go since you have done everyone else

See when you know what your talking about, maybe thats the time to open your month.
1: Customer service is as good if not better than any other network.
2: Prices are in line with or better than most networks (excluding 3)
3: Still offer 12 month contracts (o2 ditched them) 18 month is the industry standard, Sim only offers are great and 24 months is only if you want lower month tariffs, with a higher spec phone. Looks to me as if we give the customer all options.
4: Comparing vodafone to P4U is rich, since i have to deal with P4U s**t daily.
You worked for the The Link (o2 bought there stores and hired there staff, hmm i'm seeing a pattern) and that makes you an oracle on vodafone, pull the other one. When your not wearing o2 tinted glasses or using what appears to be a very old grudge, then you can talk about Vodafone as a company.

@ Super, of Question but have you ever used 02?
02 do have good standards for CS they do actually go outta there way to sort stuff for you like the time I bodged up a phone entering a illegal pin thinking it was a unlocking code,
ok they couldn't do much but they gave me the number to the manufacturer and appoligized in enourmous ways.
only time I experienced hell with them was when I had enuff of them and went to Vodafone,
I had a right laugh and joke with the sales person from Vodafone about 02 as she had come from 0range and suffered more or less the same.
I do like being with VF I enjoy there services and there recepton is very good ive not hd any issues with internet not working like I used to with 02, but I think they should train there over the phone staff up alot better!
Shop staff are generally ok they know what there doing but there abit off putting in my area most of the time

Vodafone shop staff are good they always ask you if you need help. I dont think James though is going to go with Vodafone since he works for O2. He would be a traitor lol

Yes i've been an o2 customer since 2001 when they we're still BTcellent so i know how good they can be and how bad they can be.
I work for Vodafone and have an o2 contract, i get laughed at all the time in work because i use an iPhone. Does it bother me? nope.
One thing i can't be called is blinker, i buy what i want from who i want.
Simply really.

Umm, and thats a fact how?
I don't need to prove myself to you or anyone to be honest, I've seen alot of shit from all the networks in my time, and from I'VE seen, Vodafone, and Three have the worst CS I've ever had to deal with. Orange were good untill they moved all their call centres to India, O2 aren't faultless either, they do dippy things to us from time to time, as do T-Mobile (I have a T-Mobile contract too for my boyfriend), nobodys perfect.
I do not wear 'O2 tinted glasses' as you put it, my manager is constantly telling me off for slagging off O2 lol, I'm the only salesperson in the shop who sells by what he believes in, not where his targets are set for that month.
Take O2 broadband, from everything I've seen it's expensive and shit, yet somehow we're expected to push it like it's going to save the universe, but I tell it like it is because I simply don't do the whole 'lying salesman' thing, I'm prolly too honest to be in my job lol

The sites link seems to have messed up people and can't seem to find it again. This thread has gone off topic again by network bashing. Can we just please lock this thread down now mods.
