I forgot to delete my messages from my old phone |

I know I'm not supposed to use the word help but i really do need some clarification.
I have a Sony Ericsson K7501 that I have used for the last 2 years, I never really deleted any text messages that I received or sent and never felt the need to. However this year I swapped my phone for a Motorola V8 (I think that's what it is, I'm not that bothered about mobiles really as long as I can answer it) and a work colleaugue of mine who i thought was my friend asked if he could have my old phone for his daughter. At first I said no as I liked my old phone but then started to feel guilty thinking if it was the other way round he would give his to me, so i rushed back inside and got the phone and charger and off i went to work. I have the same Sim in my new phone that I had in my old one so when i got to work (not thinking about text messages) I put my Sim in my old phone and deleted only my picture messages. This is where my problem starts....the next day my 'friend' tells me i have left all my messages on the phone and how much fun he's had reading them (yes I know it's my own fault) but at first I didn't think things were too bad because there was nothing really bad on there (or so I thought). Anyway the morning after that I turned my phone on in the morning and went into my Outbox on my Motorola V8 and there was a message that was from my Sony Ericsson K750's saved messages. It was a little embarrassing message because it referred to a time when my boyfriend stayed out all night. The only explanation I can think is the 'friend' who read my messages had tried to save this 'juicy' message to an inactive Sim. He's trying to make out I am imaging it and that it is not possible. Please don't say I am mad because it was there in my outbox. And after I got the phone back off him, the message was still there in my saved messages on the K750i, when I deleted it from my K750i, it disappeared from my Motorola 'Outbox'. please help. |

The only explanation is that the message got transferred from your old phone to your new phone with your SIM card.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

The message you saw on your motorola was saved on your sim card. |

thank you horny nick.....that was what i thought had happened
sorry to everyone else for not explaining properly
i'll try and cut a long story short
i received a saved message from my old phone onto my new phone (same sim) but I didn't have my old phone so couldn't understand why it happened
i assumed my friend had been reading my old messages which i forgot to delete and he had somehow caused this message to come back to my sim (by accident of course)
he said this was not possible
i just wanted to know if it was
any clearer? |

He's right, it's not possible.

so can anyone explain how this message appeared on my new phone?
After this happened I got my phone back off of my friend, put my sim back into my old phone and deleted the message from saved messages and the message disappeared from my new phone?
it has to be possible, it happened |

You saved the message to your sim when you were using your old phone, so it appeared there on your new phone
