Although i dont know if i would ever by a motorola, i aM amazed at their latest effort with the V600.
It is the usual clamshell slick design, with 65k screen, poly tones, j2me java, quad band, integrated camera and..... BLUETOOTH

Here is the link for photos: http://mobile.burn.com/review.jsp?Id=205

I just hope SE can produce that kind of successor (or better) for the T68 that Motorola have produced for their V60!! No change in design please... they bearly touched it on the V600 and it still looks fresh!

I have been really impressed by the recent Motorola phones. I recently picked up a C332 for Cdn$20 (about US$14) including 4 months service. And I have been very impressed by the new UI.

I have been a fan of the clamshell design for a long time. I was going to wait for the T68 replacement phone to replace my aging T39. But I think I am going to switch to the V600 now.

It is not the best looking phone, but then again I rarely take the phone out now that I have a Jabra BT200 headset.

Looks interesting. Any idea of which countries will receive it first? And with which carriers?

@orang3
Do you mean the synchronization with Outlook feature is no good?

Moto blows, i.e. the phonebook isn't heirarchical and iTAP sucks a** compared to T9

iTAP is surprisingly decent with a fast OS. On my old P280 SMSing was such a pain that I rarely used it. On my new C332 (nice little backup for my T39...) iTAP is very fast and is more useful than T9 on my T39. Almost as good as T9 on my now retired 8890.

The phonebook on Motorola is a bit of a pain though. Too much to scroll through.

Looks very nice indeed. Though I don't particularly like flip phones, the capabilites of that, if true, would make it a phone I'd seriously consider over a SE.

Here's to hoping the successor to the T68i is even better.

Even tho i dont like Motorolas ui, i do hope it has improved! Also hope phone book is heirarchal, VERY important 2 me. But love the design, along with BT, it will fit in shorts pocket or suit pocket without disrupting style-hidden! Rx78, i 2 have a T39, and will be buying this phone. My bet the USA will get it 2nd on Cingular Wireless.

I don't like motorola.. feels cheap in my opinion.
The buttons are always to hard and noisy, and the design of the keypad makes it impossible to use all buttons withouth having to use both hands or strech your fingers.
T68 is perfect in every aspect I think, the design of the keypad, and the feel of the phone in your hand.
I don't like flip-phones with the screen covering 50% of the phone.. feels ugly, only buttons on one half of the flip.
And if the phone is closed, it just looks ugly.
Flip-phones sux.. and motorola's new phones sux =P
