No problems sending sms or calls but every Weekend lately there is no mms or internet, now getting a message to check my settings are correct, grrr
Tried getting them re sent by using SE support but nothing come though after 3 hrs.

My settings must be fine as it was working OK this morning, seems to be happening every weekend from lunchtime till following morning.

Its not just o2 however.

There is a recent news article and the other networks are also now strugling big time

Article here

http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/[....]each_the_one_million_mark.html

Even though the article is about high returns in the Dongle market, They do use the same GPRS/3G system that your phone uses and is slow on.

Sorry

I seriously think all networks are getting so overloaded with demand the networks technology is just not coping. Though saying this my brother is with Orange and he says he rarely gets connection problems even on GSM pay as you go. Whats frustrating for me is i reported constant problems to O2 time and time again and they said there is nothing wrong with the masts in my area and there is no faults. Then after loads of complaints all of a sudden it started working again at very fast speeds. THERE OBVIOUSLY WAS A PROBLEM THEN. I was not getting a 3G connection day in day out for weeks in my area despite having 7 masts where i live and solid signal. The phone was an O2 3G branded one so nothing wrong with settings. The sim was 3G one and i had solid coverage. As soon as i left my area it started working again. Now its started playing up again after few weeks of fairly good connections. I give up. I blame bloody iphone users. LOL.

Don't tell number1 that, last time I suggest that people like him, who try and download the entire of the Internet via their phones, are the ones causing the clogs in the network he was not best pleased
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

But seriously its almost as if since the iphone 3G came out the users are on the network all day long. I work all funny hours and sometimes i may use the network into the wee small hours. Even then it wont work. :-S
