I just bought a G700 and was puzzled by a strange icon in the status bar not listed in the User's Guide:

(It's the one between the signal strength bars and Bluetooth headset icon.)

I then checked the User's Guide for my old P990i and found a similar one: a yellow envelope with a red backward slash over it. This means SMS overflow, i.e. inbox full. The G700's icon also shows a small SIM card, so logically this means SIM card SMS storage full. Just odd that this isn't documented, that's all.

Not very likely that anyone of you Esato kids will come across this icon as most phones do not use the SIM card any longer for storing SMS messages. My old expired i-mobile 902 did so and that's why I got this "error".

tbh, i had seen that icon before with my p990. when the police found my p990 it had that icon. it was the first time i saw it and i started deleting some sms stored on the simcard and it disappeared right away.
