CF!?!?!??! Good grief! How big is this Clie gonna be??? And with a CF card, how long is the battery gonna last? 30 min?
They should've placed a Memstick and SD/MMC slot instead.
It looks good!
Will this be available anytime? Or is this just for the lucky Japanese market?!?!?! |

Fabulous!
If it has a GSM module, it will be a definate killer, killer of P800 and any other Smart Phone for the years to come.

In the PR the price is US$800. The CF slot is not a fully functional CF slot. Sony only provides driver for their own branded WiFi card, some modem cards (and at least for the Japanese NX70, drivers for CF PHS data cards.)
Also it has replaceable battery pack. It would be nearly good enough for a notebook replacement... ALMOST. And the price being so high, it makes me wonder whether I should upgrade my NR70V to it, or save up the extra US$1000 for the new Apple 12 inch PowerBook G4. :-\ |

But wait a second... can you use it as a phone? And also, it's much larger than the P800. The really good features seem to be the QWERTY keyboard, the camera flash and the Wi-Fi access.
But if I had to choose only one device to carry around (phone/PDA/camera/mp3), I'd probably still prefer the P800 because of its more compact design.
