Hmmm. Wonder if this will help with the W980? |

I just had a thought, I can get my hands on a couple of Nintendo DS sreen protectors for cheap. I just wondered if I put 1 on the front of the W980 if it would make it less responsive? Obviously I wouldnt want to make it so I would have to hit the buttons with a slegehammer, just so when the phone is in my shirt pocket, every time i fart the screen wouldnt light up.
Has anyone tried a screen protector? Any advice?
Thanks.
Nick.

I could lock it, but its just a pain when im listening to music having to pull it out of my pocket to find the lock button hust to skip a track. and when im at work like i say its in my shirt pocket when I notice it lit up I think I got a text or call but didnt feel the vibration so im wasting my time there as well.

Think you can get screen protector specifically design for use of W980 off ebay at good price. I ordered one from ebay last week for GBP2.50 P&P included.
It included 2 sets of screen protector, each set contain a film for the 2.2inch screen and a film to cover the facade of the handset when the flip is closed. Total 4 pieces of film for that price, I reckon it is a bargin.
The piece for the facade is nicely cut with a circular cut out for the denting part. If you ar using this protector because the buttons ar too sensitive, then maybe it is not much a difference even using it. Otherwise it give a good protection to the handset facade as it get scratch marks easily.
The touch buttons will still work even putting a protector on top of it, however I dont think u can apply any protector to the denting bit....

I have the same remarks to make. In the end, since we use our walkman phone to listen to music mostly on the move (thus the phone being in the pocket), the design of the w980 music controls do not help, and the lack of a quick start/stop button when the phone is locked is terribly apparent..
But we didn't know all that before buying, did we ? |
