Hi guys,

My girl is willing to buy C905 only because of 8 megapixel camera, would you recommend that phone to any one?
Thanks for all you honest opinions!

You should tell her that there's a lot more to it than the MP count.

- Simple, intuitive, and easy-to-use A200 platform
- Good (if not excellent) build quality
- Lots of connectivity options
- 2GB card included in the package

and so on.

I guess the only real con is if you have to be the one buying it for her, mate. Cheers!

From user opinions I would recommend it, yes. Just don't buy a Vodafone version if you plan to use the WiFi, because as usual the Vodafone firmware on the phone has messed with the phone's functionality. Get a non-branded version if you can!

Seeing that he's in the UK getting an unbranded one could be quite a task right now.

Did vodafone actually disable wifi?
B4stards! how much have they already done to f... up their phones, then they go and disable wifi??!!!??? I feel sorry for anyone who buys one through vodafone.

but yeah, the C905 is awesome. there are soo many features for a feature phone, even DLNA!

Why? Just get a phone from Car Phone Warehouse. They're all unlocked and unbranded.
That's where I got mine.

Vodafone has nice deal when you get the phone, but the phone comes with full of craps.. I would never get a Vodafone phone again.. like a nightmare, first I did was unbrand the phone,, well that's was old Z600 , I think they still have same menu etc..

How about Orange - have they disabled WiFi or done anything else particularly nasty?

@RON.JEREMY
That's a bit sarcastic isn't it. Lol. I think it's not going to be too big since most girls carry their phones in their bags anyway. My friend (who is quite short and have small hands) have no problems with the size of her N95, so I imagine C905 would be no biggie for the threadmaker's girlfriend.

I am currently on voda in the uk but was annoyed with my last phone how they butchered the software, even the animations on the text msg automatically changes an sms to mms costing 36p a time even with free texts grrrrr

Does orange and o2 brand their c905?
