It will be the same for me, I will have to see both phones in reality then decide. Currently black looks like it for me. |

Have had both for a week. One Black and one Silver. For some reason the build quality of the Black is slightly better (could be a one-off issue). Visually the Silver has a bigger impact but the Black one feels more 'functional'. At least we have a choice!

Got the silver one and I am glad I did, Just goes more with the keyboard the black one I sent back because it looked like two seperate phones, It may not be a problem with others buyers but with me it did |

i think id prefer to get a silver one. always regretted gettin a w960 over a p1.
however id have to see them both ebfore gettin one, and id be going on vodafone when my upgrade comes in so which ever one they have will prob be it

I normally prefer silver phones, and to be honest I would have ordered a silver X1 - had Vodafone offered. Vodafone can only offer black under some contractual agreement done with SE, in the same way O2 can only offer silver.
However I've had my black X1 for just under a week, and it looks class, and as Wesley Snipes would say, "Always bet on black", lol  .
BTW - with default (black) touchflow 3D panel installed, it looks even cooler

MWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA After looking at both Black and Silver colour I decided to pre-order the BLACK VERSION!!~!~!~!~!~!~ My friend also told me that black loks better ^^ |

I have bad experience with prototype of black X1. It seemed, that metalic battery cover was easy scratched, and there were silver colour under it, which looked quite strange surrounded with black. That's why I am taking Silver X1
