SE confirm P800 price for UK/Ireland site |

I queried SE through a contact about why the UK and Ireland site has only prices in British Sterling and not Euro for Irish customers.
This smacks of English webmasters not coping on that Ireland has been in Euroland since the start and really annoys me...
Anyway I didn't get an answer to that question but during the communication I was told that the SIM free P800 would be on sale on the UK/Ireland SE page from the end of January for £500 Sterling and the equivalent Euro price of E768.
Seems a bit steep to me and I think I'll stick to the best all round phone ever ? the T68i for the next few months. |

Sim free T68i is about GBP300, are you likeley to buy any phone SIM free??? It'll be a bit less with a contract subsidy.

Well, seeing as the T68i only went on sale for the first time with a Vodafone Ireland contract in October 2002 I don't think I'll hold my breath for when Vodafone approve the P800 for Irish usage! |
