I've got a curious problem with my K800i that over the last wee while I've reflashed/de-branded and the subsequently unlocked (using Davinci). I now get "no netw. coverage" pretty much all the time (although it does sometimes come and go). I have a K850i also on Orange and have no problems with it.
I've tried swapping SIMs and even used a Vodafone SIM but the problem persists. I assumed it was a hardware problem and replaced the aerial but alas this did not resolve.
I've googled the problem and note that this problem has been reported on forums before but can find no definite solution.
The best I can find is to restore GDFS and reflash. I initially backed up my GDFS using XS++ when it was a CID52 phone, but subsequent upgrades have turned it into CID53 and now I can't seem to restore GDFS with XS++, I assume because it doesn't yet support CID53?
I'm at a loss as to what to do next, currently the phone is no use to man nor beast!
Can anyone help?
