K850 battery only lasts a day or so |

im on my second k850i,the first died after a week,but the battery seems very poor,i leave mine 27/7,but i got no bluetooth on,but the power only seems to last a day or so b4 needs charging,and im not makeing/reciving many calls either,all my other phones have lasted longer...mind nothing beats the old nokia 6310i...lasted 4eva...

Have you changed the battery b4?
Try the Sony Ericsson update service.

turn off 3G....I allways use GSM, (just turn 3G on if you use Internet, etc, dont see any reason to use 3G otherwise).
3G use 30-40% more battery........
turn off (completley) Bluetooth. (which you allready have done)......
then it should stay at least 3 days...BUT i remember it was one firmware who used quite much more battery...so maybe you have to change fw as well

I had the very same problem with my k850 earlier. The battery just got worse and worse every day. And one day i got BROD (software error).
My phone is now updated to the latest FW, and the battery now last for 2.5 days instead of one.
So, as totalgsm said, update your phone using SEUS. Or do a factory reset. |

I never had problems with the battery, even with the 029 firmware it last 2.5 days.
The battery is one of the good things i like in K850, C702 only last 2 days,
k850 on the latest firmware last 3 days and if i dont use too much even 4 days!!
btw, i m on my 5th k850 and i had 1 BROD with the 1st one and never never had problems with the battey with any one.
So, I think you should take the phone to a service center or something if the update doesnt work.

I have a W910 and I had that battery issue lasting a day. I turned off 3g, reduced screen brightness to make it last and it does work.
But then the battery improved with time (all by itself) and now it can last 3 days or so.
I also noticed that if you have lot of files, the phone would slow down and restart causing the battery to drop quickly.
