t300 in Canada FIDO, Rogers and both when? |

Hey Guys,
Anybody got the scoop on when the t300 will be launched in Canada?
I'm trying to get my GF one but I rather spend less then $300 Can if I can get it in Canada cause they'll probably subsidize it and charge $100 with cam or something similar to the T-mobile pricing in the US.
On a side note: I was at Market Square and they were asking $550 for the phone alone and $650 for the phone with camera. (rip off)
heck i got my t68i with cam for less.

i know at pacific u can get it for $300-400 no contract, unlocked, and no tax. |

Really, I went there and a guy wanted to sell it to me for $450 without cam and $650 with cam...i got one on ebay coming it cost $160US (about $240cd)with camera
i guess a already posted that before.... anyway..i'm just curious about the offical release since rogers will proabably subsidize it...i just hope i don't see it for $50 with a free cam for a 2 year plan

I saw some guy with a T300 yesterday...
there is a store in mtl that sells imported phones from Italy with a 50% mark-up
I think I will just go trade in my T68i Bond for the T300.. no need for a cam.. hv my trusty P800..

stupid rogers and shooting down prices like that
it really pisses me off when I buy a phone from europe for expensive and then all of a sudden come here, and the contract ppl get for like 50$ whereas I paid like 400$

we dont hv shops here that just sell phones..

I got a T300 for around 250 CAD with unlock. It is a rip off if you buy it in places such as Pacific mall for prices about 650 CAD. Buy it from Ebay. |

The Sony Ericsson site says it's available in Canada but so far no carriers sell them .. I.e Rogers and FIDO. I was just curious if anybody knew the official launch... I don't think they would bring it out yet though becasue the t68i just had it's official launch in November, December (i think) it retails for about $650(fido) and $299-329(rogers).
And if the t300 really did come out the t68i would proabaly not sell as well.... if it is selling well at all becasue the t300 has a different pricing strategy.... (and since Canadians are notoriuos for holding on to the cheap phones for many many years.) |
