so the problem is that this morning when my alarm rang i snoozed it and when i woke up 20 minutes later i had only black screen and backlight on. Tried removing battery, sim card and memory card but nothing. All i got was the black screen, my power button works though, so i tried restarting a couple of times - nothing. As i bought it in the US i don't have warranty. help please |

try plugging in the USB data cable and open up nokia software updater and try to reinstall the firmware. |

Nokia Software Updater comes on the CD that came with the phone, along with Nokia PC Suite. Once you install it, there will be a shortcut to it on your destop.

hmm...i suppose it was a good idea but how do i do that when the phone is not being recognized and i cannot connect to it. today it played the ringtone which it plays during the nokia logo in the beginning but still no picture. |
