.....but how can i enable delivery report function on my provider can i put my sim on myt68 and to enable and after that to put in my p800 i will try........

No way. It's the T68 that packs the request in the message-header. You'll have to write some code at the beginning of an sms to get report. Ask your provider.

if you put *not# at the beginning of your sms you should receive a delivery report.

I must clear up this confusion, ALL sms you send will keep sending untill your phone recieves a conformation, then it stops trying to send the sms. so your phone ALWAYS gets them but you can`t see them unless you can activate it.
When you buy a phone with reports menu option thats fine but there are 2 other ways i know of;
1. you put in front of your message the correct code ie; RCT for Orange UK, *0# for o2 UK, or others mentioned in this forum, with this you get a report back as a sms when it`s delivered.
2. it iS possible for your network message center to apply a report to your sent messages (it turns up but does NOT store like a normal report, it`s just a confirmation from the network) Orange UK applied this a couple of mnths ago for people with T68i on orange (it came as a sim update to many Orange users) so it CAN be applied by the network.
Anyway i have an Orange contract sim in the UK & i get reports on my p800 using the RCT prefix code. |

Not quite. Your phone will make sure it gets a confirmation from the SMS server, but not necessarily a delivery receipt. And the SMS will not "keep on sending", unless the P800 has some magic option like this. Otherwise, it will say "Message sending failed" and move the SMS to the "unsent" folder. |

Yes thats correct but your still only talking about phone based reports (which are still reliant on a compatible sim by the way) i`m saying this........
If your phone is`nt equiped with a delivery report option, you CAN get them using the pre text code, you can argue the details all night but i`m just clearing up the confusion that people seem to think that if it`s not in the menus it`s not possible,
so i`ll say it again, i get reports on my p800. |

R1C will be available in my country next week, hopefully the delivery report will be there. Upgrading the firmware will take 1 hour though |

We have tested R1c in Greece on a friends phone.
No fix for sms reports,just better stability and languages. 
Phone crashed after emame installation.....So if you are gonna upgrade to any new Firmware i advise you to let the things and software roll for a month or so till they get more stabilized.
Upgrade as being informed took about 56mins.
