Sony have brought out a new firmware following the release of the PSP 3000 series. (pics off my Slim & Lite 2000 series)
AVAIL IN M33 CFW
You have to use pandora battery and stuff to use the custom firmware. Just Google custom firmware install tutorial to find out how.

PSP Firmware 5.00:
* Sleep timer option. A feature that should have been there long ago 
* Full screen keyboard.
* Redesigned XMB background.
* Direct Playstation Network Access. Login and download games straight to your PSP (even buy retro PS1 games Sony have put onto PSP and PS3). This is like the App Store on the iPhone/iPod Touch.
They even got Crash Bandicoot on PSP  (Full version £3.49)

Yeah its pretty good, I downloaded it a few nights ago. It looks awesome too with the new background, similar to the PS3's, and the store runs smoothly and quickly!

Meh, I'd rather have real, unpirated games and the latest software than mess about with hacks.
