Hi everyone,

This is my first post as a Symbian IUQ3 noob. My prior experience is mainly Palm OS.

My question is how to install HandySafe on the SE G900?

I tried the PC Suite which has the application installtion icon. Selection the .sis file on my PC folder. Confirmed to install. But I got the message "Installtion Aborted".

I then copy the .sis file to the M2 card inside the phone. It copied OK.
Then I used the in-built file manager to navigate to the folder in M2 card where the .sis was copied to. I clicked the .sis file. Installtion ran ok to completion. But I cannot find where HandySafe was installed. There is NO HandySafe icon on the phone.

What shall I do?

Thanks!

You can confirm the installation location by using Tools>Set Folder.

By default my P990i puts all new installs in the Tools Folder if it doesn't recognise the application as belonging in one of the predefined folders.

It's refreshing (!) to see that the PCSuite hasn't improved any since the P990...
Sarcasm aside, I have Handy Safe running on my P1 without any problems, by default it resides in the "Tools" folder. You should also get the desktop companion, it's very useful for making a backup.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD

I cannot find the "Tools" menu/icon/folder on the G900.

I may be overhelmed by so many new things on my new G900.

Can anyone help to point out where this "Tools" thingy is?

Thanks!
