Maybe that guy is quite well off and play's the percentages by ringing in lots of times therefore increasing the possibility of winning?

but surely you'd need to ring a fair few times to increase your percentage?

I'd rather have an M5 than an E63, that's for sure.
Debadged, of course. Only pricks drive M5s with an M5 badge.

exactly!

We all know a bimmer is a penis extension for spotty 20 year olds, whereas the Merc is for more refined conservative people.

Bleh! Mercs and AMGs are for fat balding people who prefer to be driven than drive. I bet most Merc owners (especially the ones in the U.S.) have never driven a manual
Bimmers and ///Ms are for showoffs really. The kind of car the nouveau riche and 20 something "look at me" drive all over the place and cause accidents and stuff. And would you just look at that horrid interior? Honestly, I think Kias and Hyundais have better interiors than the double humped 3 & 5 series.
Me? I prefer driving the cars from Ingolstadt - Audis, preferably with a healthy dose of RS.

If I may liken the Bavarian cars to cell phone manufacturers, I think Mercs relate to Samsung, given that both release countless models that seem like lazy jobs. BMW is like Nokia since both are mainly resting on some laurels and preconceived notions. Audis are the Sony Ericssons of the car world since they put so much emphasis on elegance and sophistication of their cars (A4, A5/S5, R8, RS models etc.)

Just my 2c.

On a side note, what did you folks think of the first couple of episodes of Top Gear from down under?

No, no that's not what its about! You're supposed to think you're not f***ing the world by buying a Prius. Ignorance is what it's all about.

Fine.

This should suffice for the school run in future.
