I've compared 'em
SE p800 has more various settings
But N7650 is more simple and better pic quality and viewfinder.
Any comments?
Thanx!

the 7650 is better?
I've just got a 7650, which I think is great, but the picture quality does suck a little, its ok for reference photos but I couldn't use them for much else. Very blurry around the edges... If the 7650 IS better then the camera part of the T800 much be terrible! |

Keep telling yourself that!
The P800 at it's WORST quality settings is about equal to the 7650 at it's BEST quality settings.
Another note, neither one of these PHONES is meant to be a pro digital cam...if you buy either one for REAL camera use, then well... all I have to say is..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Both phones take good 160x120 shots... good for phonebook photos, or MMS.
But comparing 640x480 shots, the P800 photos are much better... and show better colors.
Now, if you don't want to buy a P800...don't.
To rate either phone by their camera functions is just plain stupid. |

I've seen comparisons and the difference wasn't all that big.
Though the nokia might have been slightly clearer(very slightly) |

I do not believe. Most comparisons say that even mca20 plus t68i makes bettes pics than n7650

Sorry pi.
What I compare 'em is in PHONE DISPLAY pi.
I've set many times of P800, but 7650 has better pic quality and fast!
Yup there is NIGHTSHOT that really works well on 7650 pi
Kudo Nokia!
^_^
My T68i+MCA 20 is perfect on PC display, even vastly better than 7650.

comparing two photos in phone display is maybe not the right way but, you must know that the 7650 has a smaller screen and that is why you may say that the pic quality is better!! but the only thing that is missing on both camera is the focus!! they're not bad, but they ain't made for pro photography!!

Actually if you're comparing how it looks on the screen, then don't say "camera on 7650 better than P800", you should say "screen on 7650 better than P800" right? You are comparing displays RIGHT?
Then in that aspect, yes the colors on the 7650 are brighter cuz it's not a touchscreen. Touchscreens are ALWAYS more washed out that non-touchscreen counterparts. Ex: the BEST pda screens are still not as vivid as laptop screens.
I think this is due to the touchscreen element that goes on top of the LCD.
Well... if what's important to you is just the photo element, then be happy with your 7650 or the new 3650. Me? I'm perfectly happy with my P800 |

I have a T68i wd mca20 and a n7650. The n7650 takes really ugly pics. The mca20 takes beautiful pics but takes a long time to save. Didnt SE use the same camera for the P800 as the mca20?

i'm also happy with my P800 and with my 7650! i like to have two phones so i can switch! i don't even compare them anymore cuz i don't really use the camera, just use them for snapshots, for example when you see a beautiful girl or something....
and it's true touchscreen always look kinda blury but they are still better!!

been taking pics with my P8 and my bro's 7650... comparing the pictures quality-wise, when transfered to pc, i prefer the P8 pics...
too bad, no night-shot on the P8 tho...
i still prefer to use my digicam to take 'real' pictures... |
