Disable Shutdown Sound on W810 |

Hi everyone,
I got a W810i, and it has a pretty annoying T-Mobile startup and shutdown sound. I was able to diasable the startup sound by disabling the startup screen in the preferences, but I cannot find anything for the shutdown sound or screen.
Is it possible to get rid of that shutdown screen?
Thanks a lot, The W |

hi and welcome
well, mate if you want to do this you must set your phone to silent before turning it off or... hack your phone and remove the shut down sound.

Thank you for the fast response.
Okay, then I will have to silence it first. I think that I don't need to hack my phone for that, it is not that dramatic.
But thanks for the info! |

It is a lot much better if you reflash it with generic firmware so you can get the most of your phone i guess...

i would say the same.... flash your phone with the original factory software, and make it free but keep in mind, flashing your phone would devoid it of any warranty.... |

Thanks for the tip with the flashing, but I rather keep my warranty, it is just one year old.
I believe we can come to the conclusion that there is no legal way to remove that sound. Thank you all! |

well if it is already one year old, then i guess the phone would be done with its warranty.... just check with your service provider, and if the warranty is over, go ahead, flash your phone, and make the most of it.... |

Right, so you can have custom startup/shutdown screen n sound, more flashtheme with flashmenu, custom acoustic, modded camdriver (you can shoot an object as close as 6cm without any blur) and many many MORE

@gaming guy....
since the phone has been branded with the service provider's software, the warranty that would be applicable would be that of the service provider.... once the phone is flashed, the customer looses warranty on his/her phone.... |
