I have a 2nd P990 that I got mainly as spare part but it used to work. After replacing the defective microphone it will no longer boot. When I turn it on I just get a white screen.
When connected to SEUS, it will detect that there is a phone but fails to identify it. I tried to flash it using XS++ but it also seems to be stuck. I do have a previous GDFS backup but I can never get to the stage to use it:

01:41:38| XS++ v3.1 (Darwin) Ready !

01:41:38| Executed on Microsoft Windows XP

01:41:45| Executing SEMC Smartphone Operations!

01:41:45| Please hold boot key ('@' or 'C') and connect device...

01:41:58| Master Port detected: COM24

01:41:58| Slave Port detected: COM25

01:41:58| Opening Port!

01:41:58| INIT MASTER...OK!

01:41:58| PHONE INFO SAMPLED...OK!

01:41:58| EPOC APPLET HEADER SENT...OK!

01:41:58| APPLET BODY SENT...OK!

01:41:58| SHUTTING DOWN MASTER...OK!

01:42:52| Disconnected... Unplug the phone
(Even if I wait for 10 minutes nothing happens)

I'm not sure if there is a hw problem but want to make sure that I go through all available options to revive it before I permanently put it aside as spare part.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
