For sometime now i been applying for jobs to get outta the city and move by the sea. I have over 15 years experience in the hotel industry in every department. Anyway i have currently applied for a job at the Bourne Hall hotel in Bournemouth right over the west cliff. Anyway i sent my cv and spoke with the guy interviewing. He sounded very keen when he heard my experience. He was thinking of putting someone else off he was thinking of taking on. I really hope this happens i would love to live by the sea again. Getting sick of the city. The hotel is to provide live in room for me which would come out my wages until perhaps i find proper place. Wish me luck people i really want this. Though i have applied for other jobs up and down the UK as far north as Scotland. |

In what way is it horrid. I have been there myself some years ago. But like i said i have applied for jobs in nearly every corner of The UK. There are places i would rather be but so far Bournemouth is the first one to show promise. |

Ignore Fatreg he loves bournemouth really.
Its a great place, good beaches, good night life and near to so many lovely places. Bourne Hall hotel is very near the beach, about 2 minutes walk and is also near to the town centre.

I just wanna get out of Bath im sick of the city and its a good alternative for living by the sea where there is plenty of work. Other seaside towns dont offer much work wise. Just fancy a change from what i remember its not that bad i quite liked it though i avoid the drunken clubby areas anyway as i dont drink. Though thats crazy im an Irishman who does not drink. Im going if its offered. |

Cheers. Will keep ya posted. Living by the sea is in me anyway as where my family come from is Ballybrack south of Dublin which is near the sea. I may go back one day not yet though its more expensive in Ireland now living than here believe it or not. I have been unsuccessful in some places so far such as parts of Wales where there is not much work on the coast. I sent my cv off to loads of places which all offer live in rooms with the hotel job. The live in rooms is a cheap way of moving to where you wanna go and it comes out your first wages so ya dont need deposit up front. Anyway im up for it i like change i get bored easy staying in one place too long. Im a free spirit with absolutely zero wife zero kids and zero debts. |

Good luck mate, I've had 6yrs hotel experience (started when I was 14 lol) in most areas except cheffing. I loved it, such a great atmosphere and I didn't care that I worked late, sometimes til 3am.
