Or do you have to convert them to a certain size first?
Can I convert any video to mp4 that will run on a P800?
I'm getting mine soon and I want to be ready when it comes.....

It has to be a certain size.
If you whant uptodate information and nice programs for P800 go to http://www.my-symbian.com and look in the UIQ section.

not the mp4 as a weird format but the other part:
Streaming transport: RTSP according to 3GPP
Video coding: MPEG-4 Simple Visual Profile Level 0, H263 Profile 0 Level 10, H263 Profile 3 Level 10
Audio coding: AAC, AMR
the specific mp4 size and stuff for the p800 to play it since it doesn't play just any mp4 right?

In short,u can convert a movie from whatever format u have to mp4 with a variety of progs(search the www); this is not the point but the fact that u dont have enough space in ur stick4the whole movie.

ok so will this work? http://go.to/flaskmpeg
oh ok when i said size i mean like dimensions not size of movie.......
when the 128 megabyte memory sticks come out then i will be able to fit bigger movies in terms of space......
but anything that i convert that is small enough to fit will work so long as it is in .mp4 right?
thanx

This is a common mistake. MPEG3 does not exists. MP3 is a layer of MPEG1 (the audio layer).
If you are in troubles to convert clips 4 the P800, try the mpegable X4 live software @ www.mpegable.com

Yes, you can stream it, but you'll need a streaming server that will create the appropriate .sdp file.
This .sdp file is compulsory for a P800 to get a stream... It will tell the browser that this file is a video one, and that it has to open the video player and retreive the rtsp file.
