My first mobile phone was a Sagem MyX-5, bought in France. It was splendid except that it didn't count the characters when texting. In the end there was a prob with the microphone and I stopped using it. I have since used a Samsung and a Nokia but neither are as straightforward and satisfying to use as the Sagem. I'm now watching eBay with the intention of buying another mobile in the Sagem range. Can anyone tell me whether the later models, e.g. the MyX-7, include the capacity to count characters? | |

Umm, both the My-X5 and My-X7 are very, very old now, and you won't be able to buy them new anywhere....
For the money, don't bother with them, get something newer.

Also, as Sagem are in the process of closing(going bust??), best you can buy currently are the Porsche Design phones, P'9521/2(well, 9522 not available until next month)......
If you can find one, My-X8 was actually impressive, too......
