Im looking for a K770i on O2 for cheapest possible price brand new. Does anyone know or has seen where i can get it cheap. I seen it on Vodafone for £80 but in O2 stores it seems to have vanished. |

We still do it, it just depends on what that store has out on display. They're all meant to have the same ones out and actually now I think about it....yeah I think we took it off display this month (don't ask me why, I just work there ).
But we still have them, £99.99 + £10 top up, and don't forget you can only upgrade every 6 months now with O2 pay as you go, to prevent box breakers.

Eh what? How stupid is that. Every 6 months surely pay as you go whatever it is gives you the freedom. It wont stop box breakers. Im really annoyed now. I rang up O2 just the other day aswell and they told me the discount i can have now on an upgrade. The last time i upgraded was June. Im going to go mad. |

The K770 is only £79.99 from prepaymania on Orange p&g. Best thing is though is its completly unlocked and no branding at all. They also do every colour available for the K770 (brown, black, purple, bronze)

It's 6 months starting 1st of October, so you can upgrade now, THEN you can only upgrade every 6 months.
And for pay as you go customers, 6-monthly-upgrades is about right, we rarely get people wanting to change their phone on pay as you go every couple of months.
And believe you me, it DOES stop box breakers. We have them coming in with an armfull of numbers they've been topping up to call abroad (therefore spending alot on it) with £100-£200 off a phone, and they do it every week, their abusing the system. Once again, the imigrints ruin it for the rest of us.....

Oh well when you put it like that. I did ask about this cos the phone is no longer in the brochure i popped in store today and yes its there. I was going to go for the LGKF700 but have read reports of it having very poor signal. Im too use to having solid signal on my K800i. My K800i has been good and reliable but the joystick is starting to drive me crackers. Anyway cheers will consider the prepaymania option sounds good being unlocked.

I looked for this phone in my o2 store, and it wasn't on display either, but I did notice it online.

Well it is kinda old, I bought one for my bf from T-Mobile for £99 on pay as you go LAST CHRISTMAS, so it's prolly on its way out, and all the ones O2 are selling are on P&G are the ones they couldnt sell on contract anyway.
