Basically i need to know if i can use another carrier and what i need to do in order to do it?

the text that scares me in that add is this:
"Free your iPhone 3G for any GSM Network"
Does that mean it's not unlocked to use on 3G networks? |

I'm sure the seller doesn't appreciate the difference between 3g and GSM, but yes, it works fine
