Guys, I have both P1 and G900 and I've been doing some experimenting lately. I use my phones a lot for listening to music and I have Sound Mod Lite by swmail in both of them.

A couple of days ago it occured to me to put the patched '1020867a.cre' file from P1 in G900 and I just couldn't believe my ears. Sound quality and volume level in my G900 are much better than before. I also put put the patched '1020867a.cre' file from G900 in P1, but I didn't like it much. My conclusion is that P1 has a better '1020867a.cre' file than G900.

For those G900 owners who want to try this I have uploaded the '1020867a.cre' file from P1 to Rapidshare. This file is already patched with se_sound_patcher by swmail, so don't patch it again.

http://rapidshare.com/files/150461291/1020867a.rar.html

Just delete the original '1020867a.cre' file from 'C:Private10202be9persists' in your G900 and put the P1 '1020867a.cre' file instead. Restart your phone afterwards and enjoy the amazing sound through your headset.

Hope you like this.

That's great. That file might be some driver which controls the sound loudness and quality, just like the acoustics. Good for G900 users if it works.

Well, those are just my impressions: I think that now it is a little bit louder (surely not much more than the patched G900 file) and the sound quality definitely better than before IMO.

I'm using sound mod full mix (got it from persian forums). It seems to be more loud than enough, great quality so it suits all my needs for great sound and music experience with my p1.

It's working well on my G900 too, but the phone speaker might not be able to take Max volume.

Hehe seems like this new mod is successful. You can post it (share) on other forums too. It seems to be pretty userful as I see.
