XS++ should read the lock code of the phone. It works great with non-smartphones, but for smartphones like W960 haven't tested it. As it supports smartphone connection it may be able to read the code. You can try.

Worked on my M610i proto

09:38:10| ... and the phone lock code is: 0000
09:38:10|
09:38:10| Ready for operation!

So it reads the lock cone automatically once you connect the phone?

Anyway, if it worked on a prototype, it will surely get the lock code out of a W960 without any issues.

P.S. "09:39:04| A Brown Smartphone? Joking? "

I like when XS++ shows that... I have M610 myself. Shame it can't be flashed with XS++

It would be great if XS++ could flash a firmware file directly into an UIQ phone without using SEUS (like it does on non smartphones).

Hmm 1 post only and its about how to get into a locked phone! call me an old cynic but I would not have given advice on how to get into a phone to which He has simply "lost his password to" have any of you ever lost your password? No didn't think so! in 20 years of mobile phone ownership neither have I.

PLEASE DO NOT give people the information to find tools to get into locked phones here, it WILL attract scumbags and we DO NOT want them on ESATO thanks!
