Service center number may be the problem. Also check your credit or if your operator barred your number. If not, the phone software might be causing problems also. Master reset or reflashing the firmware might be the solution for software problems.

i took the phone to the 02 shop and we tried the sim in other phones and it sent ok to them so its def a prob with my phone, he sent me new settings to but that didnt make any difference, what would happen if i us ethe master reset? would i lose all my numbers and ringtones and pics? its jst so i know and then ill blue tooth the important ones to a freinds phone first, my credit is ok and the phones not been blocked, hopefully master reset will work x |

Well if you do master reset for reseting settings only, you won't lose any data of the phone, but if you do a complete master reset you will lose everything inside it so the phone will be back in a state like it was when you bought it. So you can use My Phone Explorer to backup all data from phone (such as numbers and messages) and then do a full master reset. It may solve the problem with your phone.
