we're need the confirm from all of you (user of K800i CID 53), because many people have treid to flashing their phone into k810i CID53, and some people successful and another failed with blinking display.
like this http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=whgMrqFdsY4

so for someone who success or failed, PLEASE teel me,
did you get k800i with CID53 since you're BOUGHT it or you get it after UPGRADE your lower CID than 53?
and you're success or failed

thanks for your attention.

So totalgsm works fine for DB2020 CID53 phones flashing. I mean for phones that were bought as CID53.

Got CID53 K800i since I bought it, gives the fast flashing white light after successful flashing to K810i with far+jdflasher and also XS++ 4.1 for linux.

Are there any fixes for this flashing business yet?

I think totalgsm can flash them only. Tell me what happens when you flash the phone with K800 files (not K810)?

Flashing the K800i firmware back fixed everything. I've tried putting the display drivers from that firmware on the phone when it is running the K810i firmware but no luck.

As blerk said, flashing to K800 back solved the problem. So try it yourself, you may repair the phone like that...

Based on the posts I have read around people talking that new K800s are relased with different LCD, if it is true, it is done by just for this reason imho... Not to be converted to K810 as many previous K800 users did that...

I dont think they change LCD's just because some (we're a small group) people convert their phones and void their warranty, my guess is that they could get them cheaper or something

Well changed or made cheaper, it is not working with CID53 as many people complain. So we need to find a solution. As i posted earlies in another thread (the CID53 flashing tut) it may be solved if we find a firmware files from CID53 K810 which is bought with CID53. But we can't read the firmware files using DCU60... I think someone that owns Setool and DB2020 K810 CID53 can do the job.

Haven't tested myself, but I think SEMC Tool used with Cruiser can read the flash of the phone. It may make a copy of a CID53 bought phone.
