How do I "tag" images in the Media Center?

So far I've only been able to "tag" about 10 photos because for the rest, I'm told that they're "not in the right format", yet virtually all of my images (including those that have and have not already been tagged) are in the same format - "JPEG"!

How do I use "tagging", and why will it not work for most of my images?

Have you checked the image resolution or something. Or all those pictures taken with your phone camera???

Maybe geo tagging is down or doesn't support bigger resolution pics.

I'm not referring to "geotagging" (though I would love to know how to do that, if possible!) - I'm talking about category tagging, like you see on YouTube and the like...

The Media Center clearly supports this, but as was explained above, I'm having problems with it.

Most of the images I'm trying to tag are from Yahoo!7 Images or Google Images (there's at least one from my camera though), and they vary in resolution; they're up to 800x640-ish, but this problem is evident in low-resolution images also.

I have successfully tagged at least one (3.2MP) camera photo, and at least half a dozen Yahoo!7 Images/Google Images photos in varying resolutions (as outlined above).

Well if this option was working previously and it appeared all of sudden there might be problem in the phone software though... You can try master reset btw. It may solve slight software issues with the phone.

Mmm, it could be software-related - because this phone is still quite new, I've noticed a few (minor) bugs in the current firmware...

Of course, if this IS the case, a master reset probably wouldn't fix the issue because the same bugs would be prevailent.

So no one has actually used this feature on a Sony Ericsson?

Update: The manual seems to suggest that only images in the "camera" folder can be tagged - frustratingly, an image cannot be moved back to the "camera" folder once you've move it FROM that folder...

by the way, you can geo-tag your photos in a w760. when in camera mode, go to options, then "add position". it uses internet traffic though
