You must try core playe 1.2 or power movie. These two are the best imo.

I've had the best results using the free "M3" to convert dvd or other sources straight to mp4. Mp4 plays really well on the built in player, and M3 has setting profiles that work well out of the box (eg "W" series or P series).

core player 1.2 supports wide formats includind divX, you can select what quality the video can be played on your screen like high, medium or low. This is good for those movies, which lag in high settings, so they work fine in lower settings.
If you have to invest money, Imo, get core player. Power movie is not bad as well, but it doesnt support as many formats as core player.

Yes both support divx.
However, i still prefer the ui of power movie because its too simple.

If M3 crashes, check you have an entry in your ".hosts" file for its website check to work. I can't remember the exact entry details off the top of my head, but they are on another esato thread if you search for them.

After adding the .hosts entry mine runs perfectly.

Especially the latest version. Or any version newer than 1.2.4. They support flv videos support (flash support) and youtube also. That is one of the things that miss in my p1 atm.
Sony Ericsson software/hardware support!
