Hello,
I run Win XP Home Edition SP1 and I have pbs making my laptop and T68i communicaye through IR. I have installed the latest version of the com suite from SonyEr (XTND and Phone monitor). The phone is seen by the PC, but I cannot send files (pictures) via IR nor sync with Outlook...
Can someone help me?
I have read that some have succeeded in exchanging files via IR, but was it on the XP OS?
Thks,
Seb

PROBLEM SOLVED. Thank you a lot for your answers, especially Mr The Taz!
The solution came from lowering the speed of the IrDa connections on my laptop. I lowered it from 1,152,000 bps to 9,600 bps and both file transfer and sync worked. At 115,000 bps file transfer works perfectly (and faster). I haven't tried sync at this speed but I will.
Sometimes one has to lower one's expectations in life!

I think that this trick should be tried by all the users who seem to have pbs with IrDa connection between T68i and PCs.

Thanks again.
Seb
